The Design Exchange has a variety of rooms, settings and service to cater to your every event. Partnering with service providers of excellence, the Design Exchange offers state–of–the-art facilities that provide you with the ultimate experience for your social or corporate function. The renovated building (formerly the Toronto Stock Exchange) is now an unrivaled resource within the city of Toronto. The building's art modern style of architecture conveys a sense of exclusivity and achievement. Warm wood and cool marble surfaces combine for a genuinely stunning physical setting. Mixing business meetings, conferences, product launches and a variety of social events, the Design Exchange is a lively venue showered in style and focused on service. Our special Events team welcomes all inquiries and look forward to fostering new partnerships with our valued clients. The Trading Floor is located on the second floor of the Design Exchange and it is the most spacious of their venues. It is ideal for large gatherings such as weddings and gala dinners. The Trading Floor is also a setting well suited to large corporate functions such as annual general meetings, lectures and press conferences. The Trading Floor retains most of the original architectural elements of the former Toronto Stock Exchange, including eight murals by Charles Comfort. It is a reminder of a bygone era, and invokes a sense of nostalgia in visitors. The room is equipped with sound and lighting systems and a theatre-style seating arrangement is available. The Patty Watt Room is located on the Third Floor, at the west end of the Exhibit Hall, a mid-sized space that offers privacy and convenience. Small press conferences, private lunches and seminars are all easily accommodated in this meeting space. It is equipped with a sound system for events such as press conferences. The William and Nona Heaslip Meeting Room offers an extraordinary view of the intersection at Bay and King, the heart of Canada's financial district. It is a private meeting space equipped with boardroom table that seats up to 24 people. Adjacent is the lounge with kitchen that allows for private catering. The space is ideal for high level board meetings and presentations.
